Bodies are a library of relational knowledge. The gestures they compose and the muscle memories they’ve developed make up the lexicon of this library, becoming tools of self-actualization and power. I utilize video installation, print media, fashion, sculpture, performance and experimental lectures to explore ways of viewing the body outside a perceived finitude of development—transcending a normative understanding of the subject as bound and contained. In this transcendence, the body is not a temple.
