The creative practice of erecting hollow forms, by hand-building with formless material, is connected to the idea of power over matter, will and control, which also carries sexualized productive aspects. I use the physical properties of my sculptures to lure the viewer into approaching them. The context in which the objects I create are placed endorses meaning over use by talking about sexual identity, gender and sexuality. The context is the gallery; it denies the touching and amplifies inaccessibility.
