Conflicted

The human race, the animal kingdom and the natural world used to be interconnected and reliant on one another. Today everything that lives on this planet seems at odds. Unbalanced and conflicted relationships exist among the three entities and need to be corrected. The respect for the collective has been lost in favor of the individual. This painting, Conflicted, depicts isolation and the precarious future the planet faces when its human inhabitants live solely for themselves and not for all that surrounds them.
