This piece is an abstraction of memories of underwater adventures in warm climates. The memory is drawn from my recollection of the experience encountered by all the senses, not just sight. The ocean is full of color, texture, scents and sounds that I wanted to encapsulate into a single image. The piece was created using wool fibers, pouring medium, ink and acrylic paint. The surface of the painting has smooth, glistening areas abutting rough, sharp edges and textured patches much like the composition of the sea.
