I am interested in the changing landscape, brought on by urban expansion, industrialization and increased population. Green space one year is transformed into residential, commercial and industrial space almost overnight as cities merge into one another. Two-lane rural roads and farmers’ fields have been replaced by mini highways and urban sprawl. This painting depicts these competing elements vying for a place in a congested world and nature having a voice.
