2010, Collage using intaglio prints, acrylics and ink on wood panel, 48"w x42"h x 1.5"d
This piece is an exploration of collage using the ready-made art that I produced within past printmaking courses during my education at OCAD and traditional drawing and painting mediums. This piece acts as a culmination of my OCAD experience by blending together my two areas of study: printmaking and painting. By melding together these areas of study, I also create a dialogue between the pre-made, completed art and the new piece that has been constructed using them. Thus, this piece can be seen as sort of a melting pot of sub-disciplines of art and the rebirth of completed works.
A Daimler Company
Due to the building guidelines that are in place in response to the COVID-19 situation, we are unable to install a new art exhibit in our Farmington Hills, Michigan and Fort Worth, Texas offices.
Thankfully, the majority of artists who currently have their work on display in our Michigan and Texas locations have graciously allowed us to continue to do so through the spring of 2021. We would like to extend a huge thank you to those artists and we look forward to continuing with a new exhibition in the summer of 2021.
