2012, Plasma-cut steel, 10"w x 4"h x 1"d
This is a playful, improvisational interpretation of a larger system I developed called Spin-Valence –a structural system of digitally cut and bent sheet steel. The tray was made on a whim in honor of professor Bill Massie’s tennis court-dwelling laying hens, but it led to the discovery of a bent plate fastening system now in development.
