The abstract forms are traces of my experiences in a space influenced by color and composition. When poured, watercolor creates its own shape. After it dries it turns into a stain, and I combine it with collage to develop layers. The paper and watercolor complement each other, and a dialogue happens between the opaque and the transparent surfaces. The subtle difference is a small detail that draws the viewer in. Ultimately, these mediums work together and build off one another.
