TCU, Art Education 2018
Intaglio print on BFK paper, 2016, 13"w x 19"h
In my work, I focus on how to make illustrations and doodles legitimate art, meshing and intertwining traditional aspects of art with new media. With an emphasis on small, repetitive components—such as abstract or geometric forms—that make up the whole, my goal is to make sense of my surroundings. I seek to create, whether it is a painting that represents something 3-D or an interactive piece that calls on your imagination. Small parts that create something bigger have led me to art education—to be part of a community and to teach the skills I have learned to help others.
A Daimler Company
Due to the building guidelines that are in place in response to the COVID-19 situation, we are unable to install a new art exhibit in our Farmington Hills, Michigan and Fort Worth, Texas offices.
Thankfully, the majority of artists who currently have their work on display in our Michigan and Texas locations have graciously allowed us to continue to do so through the spring of 2021. We would like to extend a huge thank you to those artists and we look forward to continuing with a new exhibition in the summer of 2021.
