In my exploration of the wearable object, I often find myself thinking about functionality and utility. For me it is important for an object to perform a certain task and for it to perform that task well. I created Clasp as a way to transform a functional ready-made object into something else and to give it another job. Clasp is left with the potential to be used for a necklace, to be adorned on the body or to be left alone, much like a part left in a garage, waiting to be used.
