Extinction (giraffe)

Limestone lithography, 2018–2019, 11"w x 17"h

In this series, I focus on animals that are currently on the verge of extinction or are extinct: the African elephant, the North American bison, giraffes and zebras. I take an image of the animal and transform it in Photoshop in order to focus on the shapes that the negative and positive spaces create.
