My art practice is concerned with self-identity, heritage, landscape and storytelling. I am particularly intrigued by my relationship to the island of St. Vincent, where my paternal family comes from. Through painting the buildings and landscapes of St. Vincent, I attempt to unravel what makes home and how our own sense of identity is constructed based on place, migration and cultural sharing.
