I see aspects of my insecurities and neuroses projected upon the objects and characters that I use. These images become a lens through which I analyze the way we project ourselves onto archetypal characters as well as the way we view ourselves in relation to our idols and subconsciously emulate their behaviors. I am drawn to the space between the constructed realities that exist on television and images depicting the banal and everyday. I am investigating the way that we consume popular culture and how we use it to construct our own identities.
