After missing my happy place for several years, I decided I wanted to go back. Being from North Carolina and living in Texas makes it hard for
me to visit the Blue Ridge Mountains frequently, so I wanted to paint a picture that let just my mind escape. The silvery background and thickly painted trees create a feeling, a calmness, allowing me to ease my burdens and leave behind all my stresses.
