I worked through a series of material explorations as a method of investigating ways to mediate between the body and forms. The explorations utilized making as a ritual, and the forms developed through my cultural lens. I wanted to capture the gestures of the body and have them held and cradled by the forms as a way of mediation. The gestures and postures that are set in place were only because of the built forms that rested on the body. They raised the question of how much further the form could push the body to hold certain postures.
