loci is a diptych consisting of two panels painted simultaneously. It was made in the early stages of a series I referred to as stroke for stroke. The relationship between the two panels has an eerie quality of similar but different, and it takes a moment to distinguish what exactly is going on. This similarity is more often associated with mechanical reproduction. In this painting it is purely handmade.
