After studying under the Italian painter Massimo Giannoni, I decided to paint
a portrait of the man. This is an ode to a great painter who taught me so much. The painting is subdued both in its color palette and composition which personifies Massimo’s somber personality. Although he is a somber man, he is also very steadfast and determined in his own art production. This is a painting
of a wise man and a great mentor.
