There is beauty all around us, and so much of it is overlooked by the fast pace at which society moves. I find much of this beauty to be in the minuscule. In my work, I take found objects I am drawn to and use other mediums like string, stone and glass to emphasize the details of each piece. Letting the object dictate the direction is a lesson in patience, trust and letting go of control. It is a balancing game of how much material to introduce without losing or taking away from the original beauty of the piece.
