“I found I could say things with colors that I couldn’t say in any other way—things that I had no words for.” —Georgia O’Keeffe
I see color as an essential, vibrant part of this world and so it is an important element of my art practice as I focus on nature. My landscape paintings display a variety of colors that bring the setting to life and also express feelings. The images I paint all have a personal connection: a location of significance, a meaningful memory, or an important feeling or emotion. For this series, I focused on parts of the landscape that produce energy, such as twisting clouds on a stormy afternoon or a grassy field undulating in the wind. Bold color interaction and active brush strokes work together to heighten the mood of the paintings and illustrate the life that breathes in and out of each landscape.

Due to the building guidelines that are in place in response to the COVID-19 situation, we are unable to install a new art exhibit in our Farmington Hills, Michigan and Fort Worth, Texas offices.
Thankfully, the majority of artists who currently have their work on display in our Michigan and Texas locations have graciously allowed us to continue to do so through the spring of 2021. We would like to extend a huge thank you to those artists and we look forward to continuing with a new exhibition in the summer of 2021.
