digital prints, 2012, 24"w x 30"h
I am interested in the intersection of traditional art practices with the emergence of digital evolution. My work exists in a vibrating space—examining, playing upon and defying ideas of portraiture, landscape, location and narrative. By incorporating drawings, paintings, photography and computer programs, all pieces are continually in progress. I ask myself, “How much information does the viewer need to perceive this piece as a portrait or fictional story, and how are physical or ideological reference points changing due to the rapid acceleration of technology?”

Due to the building guidelines that are in place in response to the COVID-19 situation, we are unable to install a new art exhibit in 2020 in our Farmington Hills, Michigan and Fort Worth, Texas offices.
Thankfully, the majority of artists who currently have their work on display in our Michigan and Texas locations have graciously allowed us to continue to do so for another year, through the spring of 2021. We would like to extend a huge thank you to those artists and we look forward to continuing with a new exhibition in the summer of 2021.
