My work engages the dynamic relationships and effects of interaction between humans, technology and nature. I am pioneering new processes using rapid prototyping technologies to explore questions of painting in the digital era. In my work, technology is used to reveal the landscape enmeshed with my gesture, and this inherently complements my concerns. The subject matter of the images is primarily concerned with spaces where intention has made
an impact on the raw wilderness. Points of ownership, dominance and control contrast natural environments and build mediated, often compromised landscapes.
