To me, the process of creating, in and of itself, is one of the most beautiful parts of the journey in making art, allowing for ample exploration. It has always been impressed upon me to stop and smell the roses in a journey, and artwork is no exception to this rule. Impressionist works from the 19th century resonate with me, as the images capture details, many times hazy, till I take a step back to examine the whole piece. My artwork is a literal, categorized journey of my life, both hazy and realistic, from where I’ve been to how far I’ve come.
