I engage cultural geography to address themes of displacement, sacred experience and community memory. Lyrical artworks explore a queer, Cuban-American subjectivity by navigating ideas of homeland and place. I utilize architectural intervention, performance, installation and object-based work to reenvision traditions in stained glass, mosaic and light-based media.
