I spend a lot of time observing my environment and thinking about my physical and emotional relationship to it. In the studio I am inspired by the gestural and rigid qualities of organic and industrial materials. Bringing them together creates a tension that speaks to the complex connections between the built and natural world and how we position ourselves within that relationship.
