When I was a young adult, I moved to a major metropolitan area; I’m one of the last generations to be born in rural America. I thrive on visual images of everyday objects, plants and landscapes. My work is inspired by human nature and how people react to our natural environment. My attraction to natural organic imagery is complemented with the act of drawing and painting. With topology and color, I feel a sense of place in images that remind us of where we have been or where we want to be.
