I am interested in working with the tension between material and flesh, the contrast between precious
and non precious, and the future of traditions.
By forging steel and placing it in a jewelry context,
I play with the tactility of the material and how it
interacts with the body and the hand. I utilize
traditional techniques in a nontraditional way in
an attempt to find a place in between.
