This series of paintings visually explores the concept of multiverses, using techniques and media new to my practice. By aligning my studio work toward unknown outcomes, I question my ideas and search for new ground within the arenas of painting, our understanding of the makeup of the universe and the sublime. These meticulously crafted works are combined with moments of chance that threaten to collapse, flatten and distort the images. This process is meant to reflect our evolving knowledge of the universe, where new discoveries constantly present possible paradigm shifts.
