My work revolves around the idea of a modern Renaissance in which I extract human emotion from seemingly ordinary moments in my life. Imagery of friends, familiar spaces, personal events, universal experiences and self-portraits are used to portray the emotions associated with friendship, surroundings and existing in this modern setting. The narrative depicted explores companionship and the banalities of modern life. My art is about enjoying life and looking at pivotal moments as different scenes in a seemingly never-ending movie.
