We derive guilt and pleasure from what we enjoy. Our undeniable attraction to the strange, the macabre and the beautiful drives us in our public and private lives to collect, hoard, search out, fetishize, adore and abstract the objects (and subjects) of our fantasies. As a maker of art, I examine and divulge my own unreasonable and often bizarre fascination to create objects and images that walk a thin line between criticism, adoration and obsession.
