I am curious about how the human mind works and how it functions in altered states of consciousness. When I am creating, I am creating a new set of rules for a reality that exists within a different state of consciousness. In my work I find that references to the dream state and the physical world intermix, and as a result I lose the reference of knowing if a dream is merely a fabrication of my mind or something that can be explained by a biological process. In this work I am exploring the aesthetics of bacterial and viral processes.
