Ashes and Ashes, Ashes are part of the series Dear Dad. Dear Dad explores early childhood memory and the implications of parenthood on adolescence and adulthood. The use of children’s toys and play spaces serves to unravel the primary relationship with the pathological father. Ashes and Ashes, Ashes are the final part of the series in which a dollhouse is burned and the ashes scanned.
