The mixed media piece Composure is inspired by the societal necessity to push boundaries. There is an overarching sense of ease to the piece, as the brute strength of the elephant and the delicate flexibility of the acrobat form a harmonious balance. However, the intoxicating beauty of the circus stunt overshadows its danger. At any moment the woman may be overpowered by the foundation supporting her. The elephant is meant to represent people pushing each other to their limits. The woman is talented on her own, but her heavy reliance on her support system may end up being her downfall.

Due to the building guidelines that are in place in response to the COVID-19 situation, we are unable to install a new art exhibit in our Farmington Hills, Michigan and Fort Worth, Texas offices.
Thankfully, the majority of artists who currently have their work on display in our Michigan and Texas locations have graciously allowed us to continue to do so through the spring of 2021. We would like to extend a huge thank you to those artists and we look forward to continuing with a new exhibition in the summer of 2021.
