Oil on wood, 2017, 24"w x 36"h
The work you are observing is one of many relics. The imagery depicted on warped pieces of wood represents the human figure in moments of destructive embrace, minds and bodies pulled away from physical reality into endless eternity. Relics like this one are unbound by time; they are intended to exist in a reality that feels familiar yet unrelatable. Whether the wood is warping the figure or the figure is warping the wood, whether the viewer feels a sense of euphoria or disorder, each perspective is valid to the story and function of the relic.
A Daimler Company
Due to the building guidelines that are in place in response to the COVID-19 situation, we are unable to install a new art exhibit in 2020 in our Farmington Hills, Michigan and Fort Worth, Texas offices.
Thankfully, the majority of artists who currently have their work on display in our Michigan and Texas locations have graciously allowed us to continue to do so for another year, through the spring of 2021. We would like to extend a huge thank you to those artists and we look forward to continuing with a new exhibition in the summer of 2021.
