I am interested in the idea of architecture and its role within the language of abstraction. These urban/suburban and interior/exterior spaces question the imagination and invite viewers to evaluate their perception of space and its structural possibilities. These abstracted spaces depict utopia/dystopia and the experience of evolution in society. Through deconstructing and reconstructing architectural environments, one revisits one’s past, reevaluating one’s experience. We question the metaphysical, in turn creating new possibilities, new interpretations, new mark-making.
