My paintings are emotional and psychological studies of personal narratives created through the recollection of intimate memory. I began this series by extracting images and text from an old journal, noted during times of rapture, growth, vulnerability and loss. Through reconsideration of these past journal entries, I select imagery that I feel a strong emotional connection to. I further modify this imagery into simplified temporal fragments, integrating figurative elements to evoke ideas of personhood, examination of the self and personal identity.

Due to the building guidelines that are in place in response to the COVID-19 situation, we are unable to install a new art exhibit in 2020 in our Farmington Hills, Michigan and Fort Worth, Texas offices.
Thankfully, the majority of artists who currently have their work on display in our Michigan and Texas locations have graciously allowed us to continue to do so for another year, through the spring of 2021. We would like to extend a huge thank you to those artists and we look forward to continuing with a new exhibition in the summer of 2021.
