I am interested in two- and three-dimensional surfaces; both provide a unique textural and linear quality I capture. Through my images and objects, I focus on spatial division through the utilization of depth of field and variation of planes. In ceramic work, I create the objects for my still-life photography, which is centered on the relationships between volume and the formal lines, or silhouettes, of three-dimensional objects. I combine two- and three-dimensional works to tell a story that investigates the continuous exchange between different dimensional worlds.
