As a half-Mexican woman, I often get told “you don’t look Mexican,” yet, regardless of how I look, my Mexican heritage heavily influences my life. I embrace it and love to show others the beauty in Mexican culture. There is a lack of awareness of what Ballet Folklórico is and what it represents. Each dance comes from a specific place in Mexico and represents religious traditions or celebrations. This series of photos shows the diversity within Ballet Folklórico and the many different emotions, traditional dresses and skirt work associated with the different states or regions in Mexico.

Due to the building guidelines that are in place in response to the COVID-19 situation, we are unable to install a new art exhibit in 2020 in our Farmington Hills, Michigan and Fort Worth, Texas offices.
Thankfully, the majority of artists who currently have their work on display in our Michigan and Texas locations have graciously allowed us to continue to do so for another year, through the spring of 2021. We would like to extend a huge thank you to those artists and we look forward to continuing with a new exhibition in the summer of 2021.
