I mine my family history through photographs, heirlooms and antique tools. Fact and fiction are mixed combining real objects and imagined, drawn scenes. Beneath the haze of my own nostalgia and traditional women’s work is inherited unease and confusion when it comes to family stories. The stories are fictions, though the fictions become their own truths.
