Filtration Test 2 and 3 are studies into different approaches to filtering water through the use of clear glass, rocks and metal. Within these tests, I utilize and juxtapose traditional vessel-making processes of glass and metal to leverage materiality to further examine larger issues of our abstracted impact on the environment. I deploy design methodologies in an attempt to “objectify” the objects that surround our everyday lives, whether systemic, infrastructural or utilitarian.
