The rocks scattered around my studio became the subjects of my work. The rocks began traveling to different supports and through new media and colors. The rock had an alias as a blob, shape, a line or a smudge. The rock was not a rock but changed from being an abominable misguided ideology, walking through a city neighborhood, into an historical metaphorical weight to become body parts as in kidney-shaped organs, into “The Rock” experiencing its 15 minutes of fame. I connect these pieces with the pieces that connect them, and they form new relationships, new meanings.

Due to the building guidelines that are in place in response to the COVID-19 situation, we are unable to install a new art exhibit in 2020 in our Farmington Hills, Michigan and Fort Worth, Texas offices.
Thankfully, the majority of artists who currently have their work on display in our Michigan and Texas locations have graciously allowed us to continue to do so for another year, through the spring of 2021. We would like to extend a huge thank you to those artists and we look forward to continuing with a new exhibition in the summer of 2021.
