Inspired by the jazz album Liquid Spirit by Gregory Porter and the music of the reggae artist Chronixx, I wanted to share the idea that as an artist there is no way to truly capture a person’s true essence or spirit, as we are vessels in constant movement, flowing and changing like the state of water. I also wanted to convey the vibes that our self-esteem, perception and personal ideas of beauty are often undergoing constructional changes. Through the use of an atomic structure and the exposed spirit, this is a visual invitation to reflect on the flow and blooming of your own inner beauty.
