My work negotiates the illusive and indefinable gap between our internal imaginary reality and our shared explicit reality. It is also about the effect this interstice has on shaping our understanding of self, other,
and the encounters with the external world. I use consumer synthetics and acrylic paint to address
the communicative limitations inherent in our cognitive processes, particularly in the formation and recall
of memory and in the production and interpretation
of language.
