Ceramic, 2016, 30"w x 6"h x 6"d
One of the fundamental elements of my practice revolves around physically reducing things to smaller elements or components. Both the larger installations and smaller objects that I make can be broken down into units and then reassembled at a new location. These ceramic objects are, therefore, a representation of the underlying thread that flows throughout my entire practice. Each of the five objects in this series comprises multiple parts that fit and nestle into one another.
