The interactions between nature and humanity generally revolve around humanity wanting to have control of everything that takes place within nature. My work explores the use of stark and loud marks to create environments in which it is impossible to gain complete understanding and control of the activity taking place. These marks reflect the uncertainty and the mysteries present, which will never be explained, within the natural world. The work is an acceptance of the power and chaos that nature holds over us.
