One of the more interesting aspects of being an artist is having the ability to manipulate material and transform it in order to create something new. Each piece of material, from a wooden panel to a copper plate, has its own special inherent qualities and characteristics. This piece highlights the progression that can be seen within printmaking. Printmaking gives the artist the ability to see each stage as an image is created and developed.
