I use painting, drawing and mixed media as a way to construct spaces and architectural structures to gain an understanding of the concept of home. My current body of work, The More I Build You, scrutinizes the desire to establish an idealistic home while at the same time long for travel and new experiences. For me, home is what houses the conflict that arises by wanting complete freedom and domestic responsibilities. It is the struggle of desiring something you fear or shun.
