I like to focus on color and texture in my work. I love using a variety of paint applications to create depth and interest. I tend to lean toward less representational and more abstract work. I use collage in my work because it further explores texture. When I’m creating my paintings I respond to and enjoy the physicality of collage and its interaction with the paint.
