My work utilizes the manipulation of subject matter pulled from the flora and environments found in ecosystems such as tide pools and deserts. I explore these themes across multiple platforms, but my focus is in printmaking and painting. I take plant life and organisms found in these particular landscapes and highlight the strange qualities of these forms—blurring the line between their true nature and my exaggerated interpretation of them.
