I am an artist whose painting practice and product design practice function within the frame of interior design. I use a vernacular of flat, abstract, organic shapes to derive forms for product design. I articulate the layering and overlapping of biomorphic shapes onto a space by merging painting as designed wall surfaces with functional sculpture. Through furniture, space has the potential to overlap and be rearranged. Space can be compacted or expanded. I’m interested in facilitating a certain feeling, through my palette, within the space I compose.
