The moment of slippage, when one form transitions to the next, is a subject that has caught and held my fascination. Through drawing I am looking into the relationships between the body and nature, especially in terms of the continually growing technological phenomenon that has begun distancing us from the natural world. Finding the point at which something becomes corporeal and then fades into abstraction is a tool I have been using in my drawings to investigate and further understand what it means to exist as a human in the world today.
